Thank you Parents ~ Thank you for a wonderful year! We sure enjoyed spending the time with your children! It was such a pleasure to see their smiles, listen to their stories they were so anxious to share, see the pictures they drew, and all the accomplishments they have made. Thank you

Larson’s Fun Day ~ May 27, 2008

Larson’s last day of school ~ May 28, 2008 at Noon. This is our last day for A.M. Sparks & Latchky (done at 2:00 p.m. on May 28th.)

Top runners in our Running Lap Contest were able to throw pies in the faces of a few of our staff. We even let them pick who they wanted to throw at! Here’s some pictures of the event! The kids sure enjoyed it! Ryan C. ran over 200 laps so he was able to throw 2 pies.

UPCOMING EVENTS We will be starting Summer S.P.A.R.K.S. (June 9th – July 17th) for those who are enrolled in it. This program does not always include the students who’ve been enrolled in the regular Larson afterschool S.P.A.R.K.S. program. Our summer program is full now. I have sent acceptance letters to the students who are enrolled for the summer. We’re really looking forward to it! Parents of our summer program S.P.A.R.K.S. students, please be sure to fill out the field trip permission slips and return them as soon as possible. In our summer program, if a child doesn’t have a signed permission slip for them to go on the field trip, then they have to stay behind with one of our staff. I really prefer to have all of the staff attend the field trips! Also, we will be sending a Parent Handbook home with a copy of behavior rules for the transits. Please be sure to read them…especially the transit rules to your children. Transit will be calling each of the ones scheduled for them to pick up and drop off this summer. Our transits have been contracted out just for our Harrison Middle School, Hillside, and Larson S.P.A.R.K.S. students and no one else

We wish to thank: Chartwell’s for fixing the food, Harrison Sports Club donating their time as well as the supplies for the snowcones, all of our S.P.A.R.K.S. families for attending, Mrs. Kelly Humphrey and Mrs. Westjohn for donating their time and supplies to do the face painting, and all of our S.P.A.R.K.S. staff for the hard work they have done!
